Southern, AZ - This November, Dean Fish from Anchor F Cattle Co. is putting on two club calf events. First, is the free Anchor F Steer Selection Clinic and Preview Saturday November 19, 2016 from 1pm - 3pm. Located at the Santa Fe Ranch headquarters, (169 North River Road in Nogales, AZ) this short and informative clinic has been designed to help 4-H and FFA members of all ages in their beef project. Attendees will learn how to evaluate prospect market steers, and other critical things needed to select their next beef project!

The second event of the weekend is a live auction! The public auction will be held at the Sonoita Fairgrounds on Sunday November 20, 2016 at 1:00pm under the Bob & Mary Bowman Pavilion. Can't make it to the event? Online absentee bidding starts at 8:00am Thursday November 17th and closes at 8:00pm Saturday November 19th. Click here to place your bids. The eleven spring-born calves offered will work for all of the late summer and fall fairs, including the Arizona State Fair.

A UofA alumnae and long-time leader/supporter of youth 4-H and FFA clubs, Dean began his club calf herd in the spring of 2004 with 15 commercial Angus based heifers. Using these heifers, he artificially inseminated to Maine Anjou bulls to produce club calf mommas. The philosophy has always been to start with a sound functional cow. Good feeding cattle because of their maternal base, Deans’ steers have been Champion Carcass for the last four years at Santa Cruz Co. Fair, in addition to having champions and reserves at Santa Cruz and Graham counties.

Cows are culled on disposition and he 100% guarantees every calf sold. All calves are vaccinated and processed to BQA guidelines. His son Garrett is no longer be showing, so his entire calf crop will be on the auction block this fall.

Anchor F Cattle Company is dedicated to raising quality calves at a reasonable price. Dean says, “There is nothing else you can give a kid to learn more responsibility and instill a good work ethic, like a club calf.”

Curious about our calves? Call, email or stop by our ranch just outside of Nogales, Arizona. Appointments can be made by contacting Dean Fish: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or (520) 988-8009

Award Winning Auctioneer + Award Winning Sow Operation = Outstanding Farm Sale

Yuma, AZ - Making dreams come true, Git-R-Done Showpigs is a 25-sow operation out of Yuma, Arizona ran by Jeannie and son Justin Gorman. The operation started with Kliff purchasing five females from an Ottenwalter online sale. Who’d have known that midnight exchange on the side of the road in Buckeye, Arizona would multiply five times in a few short years. Justin, age 26, came back to home to Yuma a few months later. He fed and raised his first boar, Manifest, who sold at WPX 2014 for $6,500. This trip led his networking among the most respected breeders in the industry. Every new relationship and conversation about pigs fueled his passion.

In the late-’80s, we had a small operation with a few sows and would order semen from Hi Point. Twenty-some years later, here we are again. It’s been great rekindling the relationship with these guys. It’s great being able to call them up and ask “Hey what do you think?” They’ve got good prices for top-quality genetics and guarantee their product, which is important for programs like ours. In December 2015, we farrowed three litters sired by It’s All Good. From mid- February to April, we’ve been on a run with It’s All Good, and our customers have earned seven banners.

In our program, we focus on building them right from the ground up. Our involvement doesn’t stop at the bill of sale. Justin spends countless hours working with his customers on feed programs, grooming and showmanship. He has established customers in Georgia, Texas, California, Oklahoma and Arizona. We believe good pigs are bought. Champions are made.

This Winter Ramirez Auction Service Inc. and Git-R-Done Showpigs are teaming up for the Driven by Heart Farm Sale on December 10th in Yuma, Az at 5387 E. 45th.  Preview is at 11:30am, Lunch at 1:00pm and the live Auction starts at 2:00pm. Stay tuned on Facebook for all the latest!

Bar LR Black Angus Ranch - Announces October Sale!

St. David, AZ - Robin & Linda Richey started their registered Black Angus business through Jim Danekas in May of 2000, when Jim purchased five pregnant females from Vintage Angus Ranch in Modesto, CA. The herd has been lovingly attended to over the past 16 years and has grown to what it is today; a calm collection of 60+ animal units. Proof of the dedication the Richey's have put into Bar LR Black Angus Ranch.

We at Ramirez Auction Service Inc. are thrilled to partner with premier Angus breeders, like Linda & Robin, as we assist in conducting their complete herd dispersal sale. Mark your calendars for Saturday October 22, 2016 when the complete registered Bar LR Angus herd becomes available at auction!

And now a word from Owner/Breeder Linda Richey: We have made many good friend far and wide over the past 16 years and as a result have some of our bulls in most of the Western States. We have learned some valuable and fun life lessons from these wonderful animals, but the time has come for us to retire from the cattle business and move on to "GREENER PASTURES"; thus we have decided to sell ALL livestock...a complete dispersion...we are not holding anything back! Once the herd is sold, our next HUGE project will be to sell the property along with the farm and ranch equimpent. This will be another bitter-sweet moment that we look forward to experiencing. We owe much gratitude to:

  • Dan Bryce (our neighbor & Angus partner)
  • Dean Fish (our AI tech)
  • Gary Thrasher DVM (our fabulous veterinarian)
  • Paul Ramirez & Renée Bidegain (our auction day sales managers)
  • Rich Machado (our California based auctioneer)
  • Terry Cotton (American Angus Association Regional Rep)
  • John Dickinson (Videographer & Internet Sales Coordinator)
  • Ron Low & Farm Bureau Grill Team (Bidder BBQ - catered luncheon)
  • Terry/Genger Chacon plus Andy/Nicole Pogue & their 8 children (trimming & clipping)
  • Kayleen Fenn (help during calving season)
  • Darcy DeSpain & children (our onsite eyes when we weren't there)

Stay tuned here at U Can Bid.Com or follow us on Facebook for all the latest news. We can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones at our Sale in October at the Ranch Headquarters. See you soon!

Mark your calendars for the Auction Event of the Summer!

MARANA - On Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th Ramirez Auction Service Inc., will be conducting the Going Out of Business Auction for NAC Construction Company at 8359 W. Tangerine Rd, a family tradition of construction since 1952
Susie & Billy Montgomery, third generation contractors, are closing their doors so they can enjoy all retirement has to offer. Susie grew up in her fathers’ construction business, RE Miller Paving & Construction, learning the ropes as soon as she could see over the dashboard of his pickup. With a career that spanned 64 plus years Susie is a wealth of knowledge and takes pride in her accomplishments, when asked why close shop now? She states, “We loved the business and all it had to offer but we are even more excited to have the opportunity to travel and spend time with friends and family at our desert ranch. We closed the doors on May 1st and are offering our contraction assets to the public at auction, so we can start the next chapter.” Between RE Miller & NAC Construction there isn’t a main road or street in Pima County they haven’t had a hand in, not to mention the thousands of subdivision lots they worked over the years. Billy too is ready for retirement even though he claims Susie will always be “boss".

This two-day auction begins on Friday at 8:00 am with a unique opportunity to bid as you walk the property. On Saturday the auction will take place indoors at 8:30 am with a catalog auction viewed on screen.
Be sure to take advantage of auction preview Thursday July 7, 2016 from 7:00am to 7:00pm to see all the auction has to offer including heavy civil construction equipment, service vehicles, trucks, tractors, tools, trench boxes, buckets, screens, CMP pipe, HDPE pipe, hardware, building supplies, shop equipment, hand tools, welders, office supplies and many other items too numerous to mention spread over the entire 10 Acres.

Stay tuned here at ucanbid.com for more information about this unique auction!

Sold! Anchor F Style

Sold!

Anchor F Cattle Company is currently gearing up for our next goat sale and we wanted to explain our sales process. This particular sale will be online only at Ramirez Auction Services. All of our top wethers, does, steers and heifers will be marketed through the auction process. But why?

First of all, I want you to be assured that these projects have not been picked through or sorted. Every top animal we raise will be marketed in this way. This is our guarantee to you, our potential customer, that you have as fair a shot at our best animals as the next person or family. Yes, we will privately market projects that may not sell through the auction process or are not in the top percentage of what we produce. However, all of our top ones will be sold this way. Secondly, we have been fortunate to develop many great friendships and relationships in the show industry. It wouldn’t be fair (in our opinion) to hand pick our buyers. Not taking anything away from others who do this, but we won’t. Finally, my involvement in the auction business has me firmly convinced that the auction process is the only way for true price discovery. It doesn’t make a bit of difference what I think they are worth. Your opinion is the one that matters. We set a fair base price for them and you take over from there.  We will not play any games with you and what they sell for, they really sell for.  If you have any questions, always feel free to reach out to me and I will be glad to visit with you.

This set of goats represents a great leap forward for Anchor F. We have incorporated artificial insemination in our program and four of the wethers featured are sired by Fat Albert. The remaining wethers sired by our herd sire, Money MakeWether, are everything we hoped they would be. We have also invested in some serious doe power. I feel confident that any one of these lots will be competitive on a local or state level or I wouldn’t put my name on them. We had numerous goats from our first kidding in the champion drive at Pima, Pinal and Yuma counties. We also raised the champion carcass goat at the Yuma County Fair. Many thanks to those exhibitors that took a chance on an unknown breeder and did a great job getting them to their end point.

Finally, my guarantee to you is this: every single goat offered for sale is 100% guaranteed. If he/she is not exactly as described or pictured, I will immediately refund your purchase amount and we will continue to be friends. No questions asked. We pictured the goats clipped as they would be shown so that you can make your own evaluation. You are always welcome to come down and see them for yourself in person. Internet bidding begins at 7:00am (MST) Friday May 13th and closes Tuesday May 17th at 7:00pm (MST)Thank you in advance for bidding and we are always here to help!

test 2554Absentee Bidding with us!

Hopefully we've got you pretty excited about the upcoming auction, now less than a week away, we can't wait to see everyone come out and support The Wendy Glenn Memorial Event. But what if you can't make it to Douglas? Can you still have a chance to win that amazing trip or priceless piece of art? Of course! Ramirez Auction Service Inc. is here to place your bidding (literally).

Sign up to bid absentee and our staff will work closely with you to create a personalized bidding plan and execute your bids. Your bidding plan includes the items you wish to bid on in both live and silent auctions.

Whats Next?

Go to our AUCTIONS page and "Register to Bid" for The Wendy Glenn Memorial Event. Complete the application with an email and create your new secure account. You will be able to view the auction catalog and place your bids online with other absentee bidders. But remember bidding closes at 5:00pm (MST) on Friday April 29, 2016.

How Does Absentee Bidding Work?

Absentee bidding is simply the method of placing bids on auction items prior to the start of the auction when you, the bidder are unable to attend the live event. Your bid will be used to place bids for items, even though you are not there! So, when you find a lot on which you want to bid, input the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the particular experience or item. This amount is your "absentee" bid. Once the live auction starts, we at Ramirez Auction Service Inc. delegate a staff member to bid on your behalf by communicating to the auctioneer via your unique paddle/number via real-time floor bidding. This does not mean the bidding starts at your max bid, and don't worry we will never bid higher than your maximum absentee amount.

Here is an example:

  • Slim places an absentee bid of $1,000.00 for lot #6 on line
  • Tex places an absentee bid of $2,000 for lot #6 on line
  • The auctioneer starts the LIVE bidding and a floor bid comes in for $1,500.00
  • If no one else raises their paddle, Tex will emerge as the winning bidder at $1,600.00 (if the next bid increment amount is $100.00)
  • Tex is alerted to his win and then makes arrangements with the charity to pay and pick up lot #6

Alternatively, you can choose to bid by phone during the live auction, but remember these arrangements must be made in advance by contacting Kelly Glenn-Kimbro at (520) 508-5208

So weither you make it out to Douglas, place a bid online or bid by phone, we look forward to making it possible for you to participate in this special event!

Questions about bidding online? Don't hesitate to contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Comments From Our Clients

  • Paul Ramirez was our auctioneer for the Tucson Wildlife Center "Rejoice Dinner" fund raiser in Jan 2012. We were very fortunate to have Paul as he significantly increased our auction proceeds far above expectations. He is a very creative auctioneer and suggested several unique ways to present our candidate offerings. Paul is engaging and knows how to motivate potential bidders. His enthusiasm and humor energizes the audience. Because of Paul's excellent presentation of our auction items we believe we achieved about three times the revenue that we had anticipated. All of the attendees enjoyed the auction as the highlight of the evening. We were so pleased that we have scheduled Paul again for our 2013 event.
    M. Lisa Bates, MS, Executive Director, Tucson Wildlife Center, Inc.

  • Paul Ramirez and the Charity Auction Team are TROT's "secret weapon" when it comes to our event fundraising efforts! Paul's professional expertise, his auction style, and his rapport with the crowd are a perfect fit for our organization - his auctions are fun and produce fabulous results for our charity. Paul knows his business and willingly shares ideas to help us maximize the proceeds from our events. Many children with special needs from the Tucson community have directly benefited from the funds raised by Ramirez Auction Services and we are grateful for their supportive, professional assistance. I highly recommend the Ramirez Auction Services to any nonprofit organization that wants a good outcome at their events!
Leslie Esselburn, Executive Director Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT)

  • Paul has been auctioneer several times when I have donated a large original painting to a charity event. No one does a better job auctioning my work then he does. Paul does his homework, knows his audience, has good knowledge of the items he's auctioning, and says just the right thing to elicit the highest bid. I am always thrilled when I see he is the auctioneer.
    Diana Madaras, Madaras Gallery

  • Thank you so much for helping us at the Santa Cruz County Fair. Too many people don't realize what a great talent we have in you! I appreciate all you do for us and the young people in our county and state!
Dean Fish, Santa Cruz County Fair

  • Thank you for your professionalism in auctioneering for our Gala & Auction. Your team was the highlight to our evening with many compliments on the Live Auction. The outcome of this event was fruitful. CFCA is very blessed to have your support!
